Due to the recent Outbreak of the COVID -19 or known as the Coronavirus, every part of the world is following severe precautionary measures. The same situation is being followed in India after the nation’s cases due to the COVID-19 began to rise. At the beginning of January when the outbreak was reported by the Chinese government, the virus was reported and affected only the Chinese citizens, then within weeks, several countries including Spain, Italy and the United States of America began reporting a very meager amount COVID-19 cases. Until Late February, things tend to look more serious as the number of infected rose to 60,000 in china and nearly more than 5000 from around the world.
By the beginning of March, after the World Health Organization (WHO) announced as a Pandemic, the measures taken from various countries became more stringent in protecting everyone from the virus. It was by this time where every media looked at India’s COVID-19 cases, with a country of over 1.3 billion people the total cases by march were very well below 500 which is a very less number when compared to developed countries.
India is a country with a growing economy where still nearly poverty and corruption tend to take the major spot. Experts had a firm voice that “If an outbreak happens in India, the impact would be magnanimous”, the statement was given considering the lifestyle of Indian people.
